PICAYUNE — Live Nativity at Faith Chapel

Faith Chapel Church of God has a live nativity scene and Christmas caroling 5:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23. For more information, call 601-916-2327.

Candlelight Christmas Eve

St. Barnabas Anglican Church candlelight Christmas Eve service are at 5:30 and 11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. Refreshments in parish hall after each service.

Candlelight at Emmanuel BC

Emmanuel Baptist  Church of Nicholson will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Monday, Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.

Christmas Eve service slated

Trinity United Methodist Church, 3021 Woods Road, will hold a Christmas Eve Service, Dec. 24,  with Holy Communion at 5 p.m.  All are invited to attend.

Free dinner in Poplarville

Free Christmas Dinner 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, at Chicken and More (old Bill’s Fried Chicken) location on South Main Street in Poplarville. For more information, call 601-795-2233.

The following churches have planned services for Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25.

They include:

— St. Barnabas Anglican Church Christmas service, 10 a.m..

— Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church Christmas service  7 a.m. For more information, call 601-798-5457.

— Triumph Baptist Church has its Christmas service at 6 a.m.

Christmas dinner at Antioch

Antioch Baptist Church on East Canal is having a Christmas dinner for the public 12 noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25. To reserve a dinner, call 601-798-2797, leave name, phone number and number attending; carry-out available; deliveries for shut-ins.

Watch night service

Antioch Baptist Church hosts a New Year’s Eve watch service 6:30 p.m.-midnight Monday, Dec. 31, featuring The Riders as the opening act, followed by The Don Crowe Bank, The Gospel Grass Revival, and Final Harvest. Bro. Ira Jarrell is MC. Also featured are local singers Sue Havard and Jewel Khole. The public is invited.
