Paying your spiritual, governmental taxes

Romans 13 begins by telling me that God commands every person to be in subjection to the government. Next, it tells me two times that the government is a minister/servant/deacon of God. It tells me that I ought to obey the government because the government has the power to punish me. Verse 5 tells me that I should submit to the government not only out of fear of what it could to me but also for the sake of my conscience.

Mississippi College hosts Youth Evangelism Challenge
Mississippi College will host the Youth Evangelism Challenge sponsored by the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board on Thursday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. Worship will be led by Bethany Barr-Phillips, and conference speakers will be Gary Permenter and Bryant Bush.
