PICAYUNE — R.C.I.A. Classes to Begin at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, September 9, 2012, 7 p.m.

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the Catholic Church's means of preparing and welcoming those who seek Church membership. Through prayer and study, an adult is led to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Faith. It is directed toward the possible decision to become a full member of the Catholic Community. Those 18 years old and older, who are unbaptized who wish to learn more about the Catholic Faith, or baptized Christians from other denominations who would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith, or baptized Catholics who need preparation for First Eucharist and/or Confirmation, or baptized Catholics who would just like to renew their understanding of their Catholic Faith are welcome to join the R.C.I.A. Class.

Classes meet each Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose building. There is no charge for the class or early registration. St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church is located at 1000 Goodyear Boulevard, Picayune, MS. The office phone number is 601-798-4779.
