Mrs. Spring Joy Stoltz, 56 of Albion passed away October 13, 2009 at Choctaw Nation Health Care Center, Talihina Oklahoma.
Spring was born in New Orleans, LA on march 15, 1953, the daughter of Gloria Holmes and the late Walter Holmes. She grew up in McNeill, MS. She was the wife of Kenneth Stoltz. They were married September 2, 1990 in Picayune, MS.
Spring was a Christian Mother, loved children, gardening and cooking. She enjoyed helping friends with herbs and recipes. She was always looking forward to God's second coming. She would want us to thank all her brothers and sisters for their love, concern and prayers. She enjoyed attending the Church of God Seventh Day in Wister, Oklahoma.
Spring is survived by her husband Ken, of the home, son Robert Lumpkin and Micki Sisk of Talihina, Oklahoma, daughters, Wendy Carter of Checotah, Oklahoma, Emelia and Madison Stoltz and Hannah Carter, all of the home, mother Gloria Holmes of Carriere, MS, Sisters Carla & Larry Trim of GA and Robin Holmes of Carriere, MS, brothers William (Bill) & Helen Hansen, Mike & Bobbie Holmes, and Matthew Holmes all of Carriere, MS and Walter Holmes of TN, as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Spring was preceded in death by her father Walter A. Holmes Sr. and a son Trevor M. Lumpkin.
There will be a Memorial Service for Spring on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Slidell Seventh Day Adventist Church. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the service starting at 3:00 p.m. The church is located at 2248 Hwy. 190 West in Slidell.

Beulah Honea Walker
Beulah Honea Walker, a historical figure in the history of Picayune and Pearl River County, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at her home in Picayune. Mrs. Walker was born in Logtown, Miss. on January 6, 1917, the daughter of Alva Benjamin Honea, Sr. and Amy Viola Parker Honea. She spent her early years there and graduated from Bay St. Louis High School. She attended MSCW. She and her late husband, J.P. Walker, had three daughters: Sandra Barker (Larry), Sharon Field (Jack) and Sheila Smith (Harvey). She also had two step-children, Barbara Hobgood and the late Kenneth Walker. She had a special niece, Christina Honea Hill (Rev. David) and nephew, Jack Honea (Diane). She had nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, J.P. Walker; and her brother Alva Benjamin Honea, Jr.
