	Beulah Honea Walker, a historical figure in the history of Picayune and Pearl River County, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at her home in Picayune. Mrs. Walker was born in Logtown, Miss. on January 6, 1917, the daughter of Alva Benjamin Honea, Sr. and Amy Viola Parker Honea. She spent her early years there and graduated from Bay St. Louis High School. She attended MSCW. She and her late husband, J.P. Walker, had three daughters: Sandra Barker (Larry), Sharon Field (Jack) and Sheila Smith (Harvey). She also had two step-children, Barbara Hobgood and the late Kenneth Walker. She had a special niece, Christina Honea Hill (Rev. David) and nephew, Jack Honea (Diane). She had nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, J.P. Walker; and her brother Alva Benjamin Honea, Jr.&lt;/p&gt;
