POPLARVILLE —
Dr. Vernon L. Tuttle, 88 , of Poplarville, Miss., passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in Stone County Hospital, Wiggins, Miss.
Dr. Tuttle was a retired Chiropractor and a member of Sherrard Byrd Lodge # 353, F. & A.M. in Poplarville; Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 100, Poplarville; a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason; York Rite; and an honorably discharged World War II Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert A. and Goldie M. Black-Tuttle; and his wife, Odelia "Dee" Tuttle.
Survivors include: a host of friends, lodge brothers and sisters, and extended family.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS 39470 with interment following in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Hicks, Tom Cumberland, W.A. Hennes, Bob Boyce, Jack Holland, and James Strickland.
