PICAYUNE — Betty M. Polk, 69, of Picayune passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at her residence in Picayune.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Pulaski County, Ky., she was a Nurse’s Aide.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Orville Preston and Clara Elizabeth Warren; and one son, James Earl Beagle, Jr.
Survivors include: her children, Daniel Beagle of Picayune, Janet Brown of Springfield, Ill., Mary Elizabeth Corado of Granite City, Ill., Elza Eugene Harter Sr. of Picayune, Wanda F. Secrist of Picayune and Paul Henry Harter of Springfield; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Elven R. Warren of Nicholson; her sisters, Dorothy G. Ellis of Decatur, Ill., Georgia Wallace of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Liz Sikes of Natchez, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
