PICAYUNE —
Funeral Services for Gilbert Garland Weeks, 82, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 will be held Friday, July 6, 2012, at 9 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
There will be no visitation.
Burial will be in County Line Community Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Brother Walt Barnes will officiate the service.
A native of -Greenville, Miss., he was disabled and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Gilbert Weeks and Olive Pearson Weeks; his sisters, Nora Lee Jennings, Margaret Elaine Herring, Nedra Kay Doyle; and brother, Clifford Weeks.
Survivors include: his brother, Thomas Michael Weeks; his brother-in-law, Dub Herring; several nieces and nephews; and his loving and faithful caregiver, Pat Carnes.
