PICAYUNE —
Martha Schaller Buzzinotti passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the age of 71. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Martha was a native of New Orleans, La., a resident of St. Bernard and since 2005 a resident of Picayune, Miss. She retired from USDA many years ago but loved getting together with fellow retirees.
Martha was preceded in death by: her loving husband, Ralph Buzzinotti; her parents, Frederick and Florence Schaller; and two brothers, Theodore Schaller and Mickal Schaller.
She is survived by: her sister, Elizabeth Schaller Hanslick (Ben); and two brothers, Ronald Schaller (Janet) and Donald Schaller. Martha was a loving and devoted aunt to five nieces, Tammy Thiberville, Lynn Murray, Mary VanMarcke, Terry Blocker and Gail Blocker; and six nephews, Frederick Schaller, Tim Primeaux, Jason Schaller, Mickal Schaller, Skipper Schaller, and Jack Blocker; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Martha enjoyed being outdoors and was enchanted by all of God’s creatures that roamed her property. She was a dedicated caregiver to so many and a true blessing to everyone in her life.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m.
Burial to follow in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
