PICAYUNE —
Memorial Services for Gladys Gertrude Sparling, 97, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, will be held at a later date in Wichita, Kan.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Princeton, Mo., she was a Secretary for her family lumber business and a member of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Clifford W. Alley, and Anna Belle Underwood Alley; her husband, Charles E. Sparling; her sister, Elizabeth Lieztke; and her brother, Fred Alley.
Survivors include: her children, William F. "Bill" Burns and Roberta "Bobby" Goins; four grandchildren, Jackie Sue, Mistie, Jimmy, and William; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Kenneth Alley and Robert Alley.
