POPLARVILLE — Funeral services will be Friday, November 27 at 1 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for Mr. Charles Edward Culpepper, 59, of Poplarville who passed Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at his residence. Brother Bob Lee will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Ford’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Poplarville, he was born August 7, 1950 to Ocon and Eddie Lewis-Culpepper. A lifelong resident of Pearl River County, Miss.; loving husband and father, he was a member of Ford’s Creek Baptist Church and served on the Pearl River County Board of Supervisor’s Beat 2.
His parents precede him in death.
Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Keaton Culpepper; one son, Keith Culpepper and his wife Sandra, both of Poplarville; one daughter, Michelle Welborn and her husband Reggie of Laurel, Miss.; one brother, Frank Culpepper of Louisiana; three sisters, Mildred Samson of Picayune, Gertrude Brooks of Pearl River, La., and Jeanette Trent of Arkansas; and five grandchildren, Karley Culpepper, Logan Culpepper, Jacob Culpepper, Connor Welborn, and Lana Welborn.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
