PICAYUNE — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Lee’s Chapel #1 Baptist Church for Jean Kirkland Boutwell, 84, of Carriere who passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Covington, La.
Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Donnie Boutwell, the Rev. A.W. Kirkland and the Rev. Tim Parker will officiate at the service.
A native of Pearl River County, she was a retired School Bus Driver and a member of Lee’s Chapel #1 Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Walter Thomas and Bertha Jane Kirkland; and her husband, Carl H. Boutwell.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Ray Boutwell and Carlos Wayne Boutwell both of Carriere; one daughter, Lawanna Boutwell of Carriere; one sister, Edith Lee of Leetown Community; one brother, A.W. Kirkland of Wiggins, Miss.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
