Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on Rock Ranch Road, Carriere for Hazel A. Jarrell, 67, of Carriere who passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Highland Community Hospital.

Burial will be in Holliman Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Connie Jarrell will officiate at the service.

A native of Dondee, Miss., she was an owner/operator of the Mill Creek One Stop Store, and a member of Lee’s Chapel #1 Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Elmer E. and Clytie Pannell Jackson; husband, William Dennis Jarrell, Sr.; and sister, Rachel Palmer.

Survivors include: sons, William Dennis Jarrell, Jr., and James Scott Jarrell; granddaughters, Chalynn Jarrell and Sierra Jarrell; grandson, Slade Smith all of Carriere; and a sister, Lois Stegall of Picayune.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
