PICAYUNE — Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church for Mr. Arcell Mark, Sr., 79, of Picayune who passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in Picayune.
Burial will be in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
The Rev. Dr. Michael Kelley will officiate at the service.
A native of Sandy Hook, Miss., he was a member and a Deacon of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Dorothy Bolden Mark; one son, Arcell Mark, Jr.; and one grandson, Lloyd Stalling III.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael Mark and Kenneth (Sandra) Mark of Picayune; two daughters, Gloria (Manuel) Coleman of Picayune and Kimberly Mark Hamilton of Slidell, La.; one brother, Joe (Bettye) Mark of Picayune; three sisters, Alverta “Kitty” Bolden of Picayune, Alice Thomas of North Carolina, and Bertha Littles of New York City, N.Y.; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
