POPLARVILLE — Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. at White Funeral Home of Poplarville for Mildred Pace Spiers, 81, of Poplarville who passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Poplarville. Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate at the service. Interment will follow in Sones Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Spiers was born on December 22, 1927 to the late Luke and Hettie Pace. She is a member of Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Don Spiers; one son, Larue Hodges; and two grandchildren: Penny Jarrel and Scott Hodges.
Survivors include: three sons, Harold Forbes, Jr. of Carriere, Roger Forbes and wife Pam of Carriere and Randy Hodges and wife Sondra of Bogalusa, La.; two daughters, Pam Sumrall and husband Keith of Carriere and Linda Seal of Bogalusa; three sisters, Ruth Hopkins of Bogalusa, Audeau Strong of Marshall, Texas and Wilena Roddy of Pine, La.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at White Funeral Home of Poplarville.
