PICAYUNE —
Visitation for Alfred Wayne Barnes, 63, of Wiggins, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012, will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Pleasant Hill, La., he was a Chief of Police in Zwolle, La.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Walter Prescott Barnes; his grandchild, Wayne Mahan; and his brother-in-law, Charles Smith.
Survivors include: his mother, Joyce M. Woods Barnes; his wife of 21 years, Melinda Anderson Barnes; his three sons: Albert Wayne Barnes and his wife Sheryl, Michael Shayne Barnes and his wife Donna, and Gary LeVasseuer Barnes and his wife Sheila; his daughter, Angel Waynette Barnes; his five grandchildren: Brentley, Dakota, Donovan, Melissa, and Alicia; his four great-grandchildren: Shelby, Alena, Bentley, and Hunter; his two brothers, Kenneth "Coon" Barnes and his wife Glenda, Walter "Booger" Barnes and his wife Cathy; and his sister, Debbie Smith.
