Brad Penton, 63, loving son, husband, father and grandfather, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Noble Cemetery, Noble, La. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Winscott Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Rd., in Benbrook.
Brad was born November 15, 1948, in Picayune, Miss. He loved his New Orleans Saints, the Texas Rangers and keeping in touch with friends and family on Facebook. Brad retired from the Air Force at Carswell AFB.
Brad was preceded in death by: his wife, Kay Maxey Penton; father, Leroy “Sparky” Penton; and granddaughter, Tiffany Penton.
Survivors: Loving wife, Judy Penton; mother, Grace Penton of Picayune; daughters, Deborah Short (Michael), and Robin Penton; son-in-law, Rusty Roman; stepchildren, Jason Jarrett (Elicia), Jodie McCarty, and John Varner (Cheryl); grandchildren, Bradley Scott Penton, Emily Roman, and Eli Campbell; step-grandchildren, Bradley McCarty, Heather Campbell (Billy), Maggie Jarratt and Brice Jarratt, Amie and Ronnie Varner; sister, Barbara Carrubba (J.J.); brothers, Kim Penton (Nancy) and Kelly Penton (Lauri); and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
