PICAYUNE —
Funeral Services for Linda G. Neely, 65, who passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 3 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Eld. Tommy Hudnall will officiate the service.
A native of Vicksburg, Miss., she was a Homemaker. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially on outing and at the holidays.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe Brooks Hicks and Lola Christine Irvin Hicks; and her husband of 24 years, Luther Neely; her daughter-in-law, Samantha Meshell, and her grandson, Rocky Dale Parker.
Survivors include: her five daughters: Betty Brown, Carol Garrett, Jackie Penton and her husband Glen, Stephanie Carter, Bridget Watts; and her son, Jimmy Meshell; her thirteen grandchildren: Courtney, Corey, Nathan, Justin, Raymond, Zachary, Sara, Bryson, Kyle, Hunter, Emily, Rockelle, and Cayden: her four sisters, Shirley Fayard and her husband Phillip, Christine Miller, Edith Manry, and Lurline McLemore; her two brothers, Monroe Hicks and Robert Hicks.
