PICAYUNE — Jimmie Vernon Tebo, 74, of Carriere, Miss., formerly of Perkinson, Miss., passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at his residence. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie Tebo and Bro. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Jimmie served fourteen years in the U.S. Air force, and was an employee at Wal-Mart in Slidell, La., for 14 Years. He was loved very much by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandy Tebo. He is survived by; his companion of 19 years, Barbara Gaspard; one son, Anthony Tebo and wife Martha of Carriere; three brothers, S.V. Tebo of Missouri, Bill Tebo of Salem, Ala. and Charles Tebo of Rome, Ga.; one sister, Dorothy Nance of Lacombe, La.; grandchildren: Tony Tebo, Dustie Tebo and Lacy Burk all of Carriere; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Payton, Abigaile, Gage, Laythun, Skyler, and Kayden; two step-daughters, Barbara Boggs and Vicky Whitaker. He was a beloved son, father, and grandfather to his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
