Robert “Bobby” Mitchell went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Fla.
Bobby graduated from Poplarville Jr.-Sr. High in 1975 and later was retired from the U.S. Army. He was known in school by the name of “Gopher”.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Glenda Mitchell; maternal and paternal grandparents; and grandson, Nikki Collins (Moss).
Bobby is survived by: his wife, Trisha of Pensacola; his three children, Scottie, Greg and Cindy, all of Mississippi; step-daughter, Caitlin Moss of Oklahoma; his father, George Mitchell and Evelyn Mitchell; his brothers, Ernie (Debi) and Kenny, both of Mississippi; three grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Barrancas National Cemetery aboard NAS Pensacola.

Bobby will be sadly missed by many of his family and friends.
