Private Graveside Funeral Services for Carrie Ann Burros Whittenberg, 81, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich, Mo.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Aldrich under the direction of Wilson-Brim-Daniel Funeral Home.
A native of Sedan, N.M., Carrie was born on February 18, 1931. She was an Office Clerk at K&B Drugs and a member of Eudora Baptist Church. Carrie loved coming to June Bugs Checkered Cupboard to work and enjoy the customers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be truly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ira Earl Burros and Evadne Turk Burros; two sons, Ray Gene Whittenberg and James Edward Whittenberg; five brothers, Claude, Buster, Warren, Paul, and Grant Burros; and two sisters, Dedra Burros and Patty Laster.
Survivors include: her children, June Buras (June Bugs Checkered Cupboard), Kathy Melilli and husband Dan, and Brenda Whittenberg; three grandchildren, Brittany, Allison, and Alex Whittenberg; and two sisters, Ruth Webster and Mary Turner.
