HENLEYFIELD, Miss. — Funeral Services for Betty Joyce Mitchell Horner , 82, of Henleyfield Community, who passed away Friday, June 29, 2012, will be held Monday, July 2, 2012, at 11 a,m, at New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2012, from 9-11 a.m. at New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church. Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. The Rev. Drew Dabbs will officiate the service. A Native of Henleyfield Community, she was a homemaker and a member of New Henleyfield Southern Baptist Church . She was preceded in death by her parents, Wellon W. Mitchell and Effie Barber Mitchell, her husband of 44 years, William R. “Bill” Horner Sr., and her brothers, Ronnie Mitchell and Roy Mitchell. Survivors include: her sons, William “Bill” Horner, Jr. and David Horner and wife Channon, and her brothers, James Mitchell and Wayne Mitchell and wife Marilyn.
