Josephine Louise Dunn Ready

PICAYUNE — Josephine Louise Dunn Ready, 72, of Picayune passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Highland Community Hospital.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m., with Bro. Billy Galloway officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

Josephine, a native of Chatom, Ala., was a lifetime resident of Picayune. She was a member of Goodyear Baptist Church and retired as County Coordinator for SMPDD.

She was preceded in death by: one daughter, Donna Louise Ready; two sisters, Dora Lee Fontenot and Thelma James and one grandson, Louis Prendergast III.

She is survived by: one son, Billy (Shannon) Ready of Mobile, Ala.; four daughters, Marilyn (Leonard) Handley of Picayune, Shirley (Louie) Prendergast of Bay St. Louis, Lisa (Donnie) Counts of Carriere and Tinka (Harry) Lucas of Picayune; one sister, Marie Norton of Mobile; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
