Graveside Services for Charles Earl Henley, 97, who passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 in Hattiesburg, Miss., were held Monday, February 11, 2013, at 10 a.m. at New Palestine Cemetery.
Burial was in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. R. T. Buckley officiated at the service.
A native of McNeill, Miss., a member of the First Baptist Church in Picayune. Earl coached little league baseball for many years in Picayune, and worked at Crosby Chemical for 41 years. He loved fishing and camping on the river. Earl was a beloved homebody and will be missed by all..
He was preceded in death by: father, Boyd Henley; mother, Mae Bodie Spiers; wife, Marguerite Parris Henley; daughter, Peggy Williams; brother, Pearlie Henley.
Survivors include: daughter, Mary Ann Summers and husband Russ of Lumberton, Miss.; 4 grandchildren; brother, Fred Henley and wife VelVon.
