Memorial Services for Mary Jo Otillio, 78, of Waveland, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the home of the Algero family, 701 Sixth Street, Waveland, MS 39576.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Father Martin Otillio will officiate the service.
A native of Alexandria, La., she was a homemaker and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church. Mary Jo never met a stranger and she worried about everyone except herself. “Mini Jo “ was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt who loved everyone. She will be truly missed by all. Mini Jo was a special aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. She was like a mother to them, and was always there when they needed to talk.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Albert Tarver and Willie Florence Woods Tarver; and her brothers, Buck Tarver, Billy Tarver, Malcolm Tarver; and her sister, Montie Marino.
Survivors include: her husband, Owen Otillio Sr.; her children, Joey DeAscentis and Julie Timmons; her step son, Owen (Diane) Otillio Jr.; 4 grandchildren: Mikey, Jojo, Alan, and Shawn; and her 2 great grandchildren, Skyler and Madison.
