CARRIERE — Preston A. Lott, 61, of Carriere, Miss., went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Preston was born April 7, 1951.

Preston is survived by: his wife of 27 years, Ann Lott; daughters: Leah, Alys and Katie Lott; sister Phyllis Seal; brother Joel Lott; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, in- laws; and grandchild, Sophia Cucinello.

Preston loved to eat at Betty K’s and “shootin’ the hoot” with his breakfast friends. Fishing and hunting with his best friends, working in his garden and sharing his fruit were his favorite hobbies. Preston would say, “spending time with his family and granddaughter was better than sliced bread.” Preston had a personal relationship with God and shared his faith with everyone.

He will be remembered as a witty and loving husband, father and friend with a sense of humor till the end. Many thanks for your sincere comfort and care to Slidell Memorial Hospital and Ochsner’s Hospital in New Orleans, Transplant Team, doctors, nurses and staff.
