CARRIERE — In loving memory of Frank Marquez, 53, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Friday January 4, 2013 in Bay Saint Louis, Miss. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. at West Union Cemetery. The family requests that family and friends meet at McDonald Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 for a prayer and then they will proceed to the cemetery in procession.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate at the service.

He was born in Las Villas, Cuba. Frank moved to the United States and graduated High School in Miami, Fla. He became a self-taught Jeweler and a master craftsman. He owned and operated two successful jewelry stores “Jewelers Outlet” in New Orleans and Metairie, Louisiana. In 1998, Frank moved to Mississippi to enjoy country living, his passion for deep sea fishing, and fast boats. A 12 year loyal employee of C&H Pest Control in Picayune, Miss., his work, personality, and outgoing nature will be sorely missed. Yet his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by father, Francisco Hidalgo.

He is survived by: his 13 year partner in life, Angie Speagle; her son, Caleb Kirkland; her daughter, Katie Kirkland; his two sons, Frankie Marquez, Jesse Marquez; his four grandchildren, Alex, Emmanuel, Salvador, and Hayden. He is also survived by his mother, Eugenia Garcia; his brother, Alberto Hidalgo; and his two sisters, Carmen Hidalgo and Elvira Hidalgo.
