PICAYUNE —
Charles Rudolph Hampton, Jr., 68, of Picayune, Miss. passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at his residence.
A Memorial Service was held at New Palestine Baptist Church on Monday, December 31, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Bro. Josh Braddy officiating.
Charles was lifetime resident of Picayune, a member of New Palestine Baptist Church, U.S. Army Veteran, and was in the trucking industry. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles Rudolph Hampton, Sr. and Lucille Smith Pearson; and his sister, Pamela Randall.
He is survived by: his wife, Carolyn Hampton of Picayune; two sons, Charles Mark Hampton of Hattiesburg and Michael David Hampton of Picayune; a sister, Melissa Goss; and three grandchildren, Lacey Breanna Hampton, Kristina Lindsey Hampton and Kacie Dodd Reed.
Arrangements were under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
