PICAYUNE — Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Helga “Judy” Habenicht Johnson, 80, of Picayune, who passed away Wednesday August 25, 2010 in Gulfport, Miss.

Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Pastor Ted Brewer will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a Secretary and a Past President of the Pearl River County Humane Society.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willi Habenicht and Erna Buettner Habenicht, and her husband, Edward “Cotton” Johnson.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kristina E. Winstead Rouse of Gulfport; two grandsons, Charlie (Carmelina) Rouse of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Matt Rouse of Gulfport; four great-grandchildren: Alex Rouse, Hannah Rouse, Emma Rouse, and Anicet Vicknair; and two brothers, Peter Habenicht of Laateen, Germany and Michael Habenicht of Berlin, Germany.

Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2010 from 1-2 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
