PICAYUNE —
Funeral Services for Charles Nicholas “Charlie” Miramon, Sr., 82, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012, in Picayune, will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 12 noon at First Baptist Church of Picayune, 401 Goodyear Blvd. in Picayune.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, service time at First Baptist Church of Picayune.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Keith Warden will officiate at the service.
Born in New Orleans, La., he was a State Farm Insurance Agent for 36 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Picayune. Charlie loved to fish and hunt, but most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, George C. Miramon Sr. and Marie Carbajal Miramon; his brother, George C. Miramon, Jr.; Rose Nissen Miramon, mother of Susan, Chuck, and Mike.
Survivors include: his wife of 26 years, Patricia Gill Miramon; his children: Susan A. Miramon, Charles N “Chuck” Miramon Jr. and wife Barbara, Michael G. Miramon and wife Myra: his step-children: Sheila Hudson and husband Bobby and Richard Barber and wife Laurie; eight grandchildren: Bradley, Bridget, Ashley, Justin, Chelsea, Cody, Jonathan, and Heather; three great-grandchildren: Caroline, Kelsie, and Kinley; and his brothers, Bernard Miramon and wife Beverly, and Gustav “Gus” Miramon and wife Gloria.
