PICAYUNE —
Funeral services for Brice Haynes Jr., 57, of Laurel, Miss., who passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Weems Chapel United Methodist Church in Picayune. Elder Steven Owens is the host Pastor and Elder Bobby McGill will be officiating.
A native of Picayune, Brice Haynes, Jr., was a former member of Weems Chapel United Methodist Church. He was also a Mason. Upon moving to Laurel, he became a member of Christian Valley Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Brice Haynes, Sr. and Kathryn Haynes.
Survivors include: his loving and devoted wife, Nannie Haynes of Laurel; son, Brice Haynes III (Trey) of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Anthony Haynes of Chicago, Ill., and Kenneth Haynes of Picayune; three sisters, Pamelia Haynes, Joyce Davis (T.J.) of Picayune and Melinda McGill (Elder Bobby) of Poplarville; two grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 1-2 p.m. Interment will be in Picayune Cemetery.
Baylous Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
