PICAYUNE —
Huey Lionel Watkins passed away Friday, October 12, 2012. He was born July 29, 1936 in Picayune, Miss., to the late William Andrew, Sr. and Lela Mae Stewart Watkins, and was a resident of Covington, La. for some time before moving back to Picayune.
He was preceded in death by: his sister, Annie Laurie Smith; and one brother, Preston Watkins.
The beloved husband of the late Rebecca “Diane” Hamilton Watkins; he was the father of Eric Watkins, Debra Watkins, the late Kenneth “Larry” Watkins and Gregory Lionel Watkins; brother of Juanita Eastman, Dixie Sansing, Melrose Strain, Joyce Robbins, Kenneth Watkins and William Andrew Watkins, Jr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 34 Pine Grove Rd. Picayune, MS 39466.
Visitation at the church will begin Tuesday at 11 a.m.
