PICAYUNE —
Memorial Services for John David Miller, 62, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013, will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Goodyear Baptist Church.
Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
The Rev. Arlis Grice will officiate at the service.
A native of Picayune, he was a Construction Worker and a member of Goodyear Baptist Church. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest moments were the times he was able to spend with his family and loved ones. Everyone who knew him called him “Daddy” or “Pop” and knew they could always count on him.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Arvil Wesley Miller; his granddaughter, Madelyn Miller; his two sisters, Sherry Lossett and Mary Elizabeth Spiers; and his two brothers, Jerry Wayne Miller Sr. and Charles Alton Miller. Survivors include: his mother, Ella Arluin Miller; his wife of 43 years, V. Louise Fore Miller; his two sons, David Galliant Miller and wife Jessica, and Jeremy Adam Miller and wife Jennifer; his two daughters, Jill Nicole Miller and husband Curtis Gower, and Kayla Jeanell Archer and husband Justin; his 14 grandchildren, Rikki, Anna, Jade, Alexis, Lindsey, Everett, Sladen, Braxton, Abbi, Blake, Aiden, Gracie and Maci; his two brothers, James Arvil Miller and wife Sue and Bryant D. Miller and wife Donna; his two sisters-in-law, Judy Miller and Elaine Riggins; his two brothers-in-law, Raymond Lossett and Bill Spiers.
He was considered a father to many more children and adults who knew and loved him.
