PICAYUNE —
Jerry Joseph Loupe, Sr., 78, of Picayune passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 2-3 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. with Bro. Timothy Mims officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Jerry was born in Paradis, La., and moved to Picayune from New Orleans twenty-three years ago. He had worked as a longshoreman with the NOSSA and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was also a member and deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Dewey and Aline Loupe; and two brothers, Jimmy J. Loupe and Charles Loupe, Sr.
He is survived by: his wife of fifty-one years, Marcia Faye Loupe of Picayune; one son, Jerry J. Loupe, Jr. of Louisiana; two daughters, Rebecca Ballex of Picayune and Julie Hancock of Picayune; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
