Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church for Mary Alice Frizzle Stallings, 72, of Picayune, Miss. who entered through the gates of heaven on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Ochsner Medical Center-North Shore Slidell, La.
Elder Harvey Bernard will officiate at the service, assisted by Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Michael A. Kelley. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery.
She was blessed to be born to the late Jeff and Willie Dell Frizzle on September 11, 1940 in Shorter, Ala. A retiree from J C Stennis Space Center and was a faithful member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed.
Preceded in death by: her parents; a beloved and loving husband, Theodore Stallings; one sister, Betty Ann Frizzle; and two brothers; Charles Lee Frizzle and Jeff Frizzle III.
Mrs. Mary Alice leaves a devoted family to cherish her memories: one daughter, Shelia (James) Moore of Mansfield, Texas; two sons, Vincent (Linda) Stallings and Kelvin (Yowanda) Stallings; one adopted daughter, Brittany Stallings all of Picayune; two brothers, Jerome (Renee) Frizzle of Crestview, Fla. and Willis Calvin (Evelyn) Frizzle of New Haven, CT; three sisters, Ernestine (Edward) Hill of Bessemer, Ala, Lillie J. McFall of Chicago, Ill. and Diana Taylor of Williamstown, NJ; one brother in law, Marshall (Viola) Stallings of Magnolia, Miss.; two sister in laws, Lesser Stallings and Alberta Stallings; one uncle, Pearly Frizzle of Birmingham, Ala.; three aunts, Rena Simpson of Chicago, IL, Katie Snead of Canton, Ohio and Thelma Franklin of Luverne, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
