PICAYUNE — Gary Eastman Frierson, 51, passed away at his home in Kentucky on February 28, 2010.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with Bro. Wayne Rice and Bro. Bob Osbourne officiating.

He is the son of Jerry “Kid” Frierson of Picayune and the late Claudette Frierson. He is survived by: his wife, Sherry Frierson; two children, Natasha Frierson and Travis Frierson of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Paige, Wesley and Elijah; three sisters, Sherry Bochman of Picayune, Allyene Frierson Scott of Georgia and Doylene Seal of Bay St. Louis; one brother, Simmie Alan Burge of Picayune; grandmother, Margie Robbins of Picayune; uncle, Dennis Harless of Longview, Texas; one nephew, Eric Bochman of Picayune; and three nieces, Brandy Friscilla of Picayune, Casey Bochman of Picayune and Andrea Mortensen of Tampa, Fla.

Gary was a lifetime resident of Picayune. His greatest pleasure was playing the guitar and writing songs. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
