PICAYUNE — All that was left of Lynn Smith’s home on Joe Smith Road after the Christmas Day tornado was the Christmas mantel, decorated with a Santa Claus and Christmas stockings. “I will just trust the Lord each day,” she said while collecting after the storm a few valuables from her home, which took a direct hit from the Christmas Day tornado that raked central Pearl River County.
