PICAYUNE —
The missing Rankin County woman who was last seen at a Picayune Wal-Mart was found safe and sound in Conroe, Texas.
According to information sent to The Associated Press by the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, Brailynn Amber Corr was found during a traffic stop by the Conroe Police Department at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. She had been listed as missing since mid September.
Her father, Dave Corr, said in a previous story that the last time he saw his daughter was the night of Sept. 15, when she packed a bag of clothes and told him she would be visiting friends in Hattiesburg. She wasn’t seen nor heard from again by her parents until a picture of her was captured at the Picayune Wal-Mart on Sept. 17.
Conroe Police interviewed her, discovering she was not in harm’s way. Brailynn Corr apparently knew one of the male occupants of the vehicle from a job she worked in the Jackson area.
Brailynn Corr is now back with her family, the release states.
