Steve Lawler was sworn into office at the Pearl River County Utility Authority Board of Directors meeting on Thursday afternoon.

Lawler was the former president of the Utility Authority Board of Directors before resigning last year and was appointed to the board again, this time to replace Emile Klienfeld.
