PICAYUNE — A domestic dispute turned violent when a female victim was stabbed with a steak knife.
Police reports state that when the victim came home she found Ocean Springs Magee at her home, at 820 Herring Dr.
Magee’s physical address is also listed as 820 Herring Dr., the report states.
The victim stated in the report that when she arrived at the residence Saturday at about 6:45 p.m. she and Magee engaged in a domestic dispute. During the altercation Magee allegedly stabbed her with a steak knife. The two continued the domestic dispute for about another 30 minutes because she was allegedly being held against her will, Public Information Officer Capt. Theresa Milar said.
Eventually the victim was able to leave the residence and go to a neighbor’s home to call the police. Ambulance services arrived and treated the victim for her wounds and took her to Highland Community Hospital before being released, Milar said.
Fifty-three year-old Magee was located and charged with aggravated assault domestic violence.
