PICAYUNE — An alleged rape occurred about a year ago where a man reportedly entered into a home, raped a juvenile victim and took some items from the home.

The incident took place on July 23, 2007. Witnesses report seeing a vehicle that resembled a white Chevy Blazer or a White GMC Jimmy at the residence. A Crime Stoppers press release states the vehicle in question could have been a white pickup truck or SUV.

The suspect was described as being about six feet tall, about 200 pounds and was reported to have been wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball cap with the letters “NY” on it at the time of the crime.

The victim stated the suspect also had a gap between his teeth.

Items taken in the burglary were not disclosed.
