Hancock County Narcotics Division investigators conducted an operation on Valentine’s Day, assisted by Bay St. Louis Police Department and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, in which 14 suspects were arrested for drug offenses.
All of the 14 suspects had outstanding felony warrants for sale of a controlled substance with the exception of two, who had felony possession of a controlled substance charges pending, according to a release from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department.
The operation began just before daybreak on Feb. 14, and by 8 a.m., 12 of the 14 suspects were in custody, the release states. Along with the 12 suspects, agents were able to locate and arrest 34-year-old Kelly Galloway of Bay St. Louis, who was the last person wanted in August’s roundup that had not been arrested.
As of now, Hancock County Narcotics Agents have arrested 13 people on felony drug charges from the communities of Diamondhead, Kiln, Pearlington, Catahoula and Bay St. Louis. The two people who are still being sought are: Donna Vickers, 27, of Bay St. Louis and Jesse Acker, 30, of Pearlington. The suspects arrested during the operation include 25 year-old Verina Palmer, of Kiln, charged with two counts sale of a controlled substance; 19-year-old Tobias Collins, of Bay St. Louis, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 50-year-old Robert Maurigi, of Bay St. Louis charged with sale of a controlled substance; 40-year-old Patrick Hall, of Catahoula, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 30-year-old Jodie Barrilleaux, of Kiln, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 30-year-old Keith Walter Jr., of Bay St. Louis, charged with possession of a controlled substance; 32-year-old Jessica Bernard, of Diamondhead, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 61-year-old Jerry Brewer, of Kiln, charged with 3 counts sale of a controlled substance; 58-year-old Betty Brewer, of Kiln, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 53-year-old Rose Martin, of Bayside, charged with two counts sale of a controlled substance; 34-year-old Kelly Galloway, of Bay St. Louis, charged with sale of a controlled substance; 45-year-old Angel Case, of Diamondhead, charged with possession of a controlled substance; 24-year-old Jonathan Jarvis, of Pearlington, charged with sale of a controlled substance.
