POPLARVILLE —
Residents in the city of Poplarville can now consume water from the tap without boiling it first.
According to a release from the Mississippi State Department of Health, the precautionary boil water notice for some residents of Poplarville was lifted Friday afternoon.
“Tests performed by Bonner Analytical Laboratory indicate the water is now safe to drink,” the release states.
