— Senior Center request to host Picayune Piney Woods Fun on Oct. 30.
— American Cancer Society request to use Jack Read Park for a fun run July 31.
— Resurrection Life request to use soccer field for volleyball tournament on Sunday, July 25.
Consider old business:
— Request to amend Ordinance 848 regarding the definition of Katrina Cottages and their location inside the city.
— Request to file petition to adopt ordinance rezoning Superfund Site from Heavy Industrial to Open Space.
— Request to rezone several parcels form Neighborhood Commercial to Residential.
Consider new business:
— Request from Utility Authority for an easement along Stemwood Drive for a water line to connect the authority’s water to the city’s water tank.

Local man paralyzed by juvenile shooting
Medical personnel were teaching a local man how to swallow again on Saturday after his spinal cord was severed by a .22 caliber bullet, fired by one of three juveniles, on Thursday.
