NICHOLSON, Miss. — In mid December, Nicholson Elementary held an extension of their Camp CHAOS summer camp to prepare their students for the upcoming Science Fair. The event involved Robert Holmes coming to the school to speak with the children about his project, a home built hot air balloon. The project took Holmes two months to plan and three to construct. He told the kids how the project was his personal dream and about how it’s possible to achieve their own personal dreams. The demonstration also included a lift off and landing of the balloon.
