DRC hours to shorten

PICAYUNE — The Disaster Recovery Center in Picayune will shorten its hours.

Last week the DRCs in Hurricane Isaac affected areas began to close on Sundays, this week operating hours will be reduced.

According to a release from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the new hours will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. They will remain closed on Sundays.

Picayune’s DRC is at 1251-B U.S. Highway 11 South.
