PICAYUNE — Deadlines for obituary and death notice submissions will change due to the switch from a Sunday edition of the Picayune Item to our new Weekend Edition starting Saturday, October 6, 2012.
Deadlines for inclusion in the Weekend Edition will be 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. The Item office will be closed Saturday and Sunday. If an obit or death notice does not make the 4 p.m. Friday deadline, it will be held for our next publication date which is the following Tuesday.
