At an in-store meeting before Christmas, Home Depot associates were given the option to either have a traditional Christmas party or to “adopt” children and senior citizens in the community for Christmas. They voted unanimously for adoption. Home Depot management commends these associates for their generousity, and reports that 17 senior citizens, and 73 children in the community were “adopted” in this effort.
