Hattie O’Meara is the newest Overall Caregiver of the Year.
O’Meara is a CNA at Covenant Health and Rehab of Picayune. She is described as having a unique way of caring for residents; a genuine, constant smile and contagious, bubbly laugh. Her seemingly endless supply of energy is only surpassed by her positive attitude and desire to help others.
Residents say that she makes them feel special and lifts their spirits.
Her fellow employees feel that she sets a good example for everyone around her. They say she chooses to see the good in life and spreads her optimistic, enthusiasm to all around her.
O’Meara is considered an angel and a blessing to both residents and their family members.
