Pearl River Central Water Association has issued a precautionary boil water notice due to a Main Line Break for the Carriere area and anyone who was without water on 3-30-12.

Some roads closed, others eyed for closing
At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Pearl River County Emergency Management Director Danny Manley said county officials have closed Sycamore Road near its connection to West Union Road.
He said it was closed because of rising waters in East Hobolochitto Creek which runs near the intersection of the roads.
Friday evening skies turned blue and storms moved out but flooding was still going on as water that fell in the drainage system of East and West Hobolochitto creeks north of Picayune began to flow south. - More Breaking News Headlines
